“Amazing! She honestly is the best. Raquel provides a great balance between information about her philosophy to dog training/behaviors, with practical demonstrations and recommendations that are designed to take into account your dog breed, tendencies and how you the human learns.

This individualized attention is fantastic. The first in-person visit lasted more than 4 hrs, and it was clear that much of Raquel’s approach is to make sure train the owner is empowered’ to move forward by themselves. She will change and challenge approaches to training/helping our dogs. Her emphasize is on helping change human behavior to help the dogs, while at the same time bringing dogs back to balance, back to the best version of themselves, and she was spot on.

It has taken practice on our part to be consistent so that our 6month Labradoodle puppy and adult Shitzu co-exist in great harmony. Each has had its own challenges, but the Shitzu’s anxiety is so much better and the puppy is coming along nicely. Raquel’s tutoring of us all has produced so much improved behavior.

Now we go on fantastic walks without any behavioral challenges, play great together, and both have become very chill when we leave them – this was a major problem for us. At 6 months of age, our Labradoodle puppy is of course a work in progress, so the extended service after the first in-person visit is great. I am always able to talk through a challenge we are having, with Raquel, with no limits. She’s always available somehow. It is a life- and time-saver.

The first in-person, park class check-in, at a neutral location just occurred. It was over an hour, and it was incredibly helpful and it reinforced that we are making great progress – like a booster shot! There may be many ways to train a dog, in our view, you get what you pay for, and Raquel has really delivered. Raquel is the real deal, she never disappoints and you can tell how much she loves dogs and cares about her clients and our success.

“I was recommended to Raquel through my friend who found her on Google. She was amazing! Everything my friend said she could do, she did. I had a terrible issue with potty training and manners in general, especially jumping whenever visitors came, or playing too rough with the kids. She stopped both our dogs immediately from jumping and not listening. It was magical to watch the dogs react to her. But more importantly she taught us how to get the same respect from our dogs, without based fear approaches. The dogs are completely different and we waited a month to post our review because one day dog training seemed impossible to believe. It’s been over a month and the dogs continue to improve using her techniques. Potty issues are finally resolved after FOUR trainers and a board-and-train program!
